Have you ever heard of DEUKO? It is the major event of Rotaract in the German-speaking countries. The DEUKO (Germany Conference) takes place annually and brings together young high potentials with the same value system. Rotaract has more than 20'000 members worldwide and is a global movement with young people from 18 years of age looking for future-oriented solutions to problems in the world and is an important part of Rotary International.

Programme of the DEUKO

From 10 to 12 March 2023, around 1'000 high potentials from all over Germany will meet in Konstanz to work together, learn, help and also celebrate. Participants from Switzerland are also welcome to attend the conference.

Participants will start the weekend on Friday evening with a welcome party on a boat, because parties on a boat are a tradition in Constance.

The programme for Saturday and Sunday includes the election of the new national social action, the awarding of successful projects, the election of the new board of the RDK (Rotaract Germany Committee) and a live social action (such as KidsCamp or Shelterbox).

The goal of a climate-neutral DEUKO

Constance was the first city in Germany to declare a climate emergency. That's why this year's DEUKO is also all about sustainability, even if the road to a climate-neutral DEUKO is still a long way off. What is important is that the first step is taken.

DEUKO in the four-country region

The city on Lake Constance would like to give the countries of the German-speaking region a platform within the framework of DEUKO. The organisers could envisage a stand for the three countries Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Austria. Sponsoring partnerships with interested companies are also welcome, for example in the context of employer branding.
